Barry Manilow.

The second concert I went to was Barry Manilow. I saw him in 1975. This was the most expensive concert I went to. It cost me $7.50. Early in his career he wrote commercial jingles. This is a medley of those.

My first concert was in 1974 and featured Herman's Hermits, the Five Satins, and some guy whose name I can't immediately remember (maybe I blocked it out). Chubby Checker? It was an outdoor concert that my parents allowed me to attend with my friends. It was oh-so-cheesy, but we felt like adults.

A lot of people consider Barry Manilow cheesy but I had a great time. His opening act was Lady Flash who were the original Lady Marmalade singers.
